About Olney

Olney is a rural locality in Cessnock City Council in the Hunter region of New South Wales, in the Watagan Mountains west of Lake Macquarie, about 93 km north of Sydney. It is home to Olney State Forest, one of the state forests of the Watagans, with walking trails such as the Rock Lily Walking Trail passing through regrowth forest.
