About Loxford
Loxford is a small locality in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, about 1.5 miles north of Kurri Kurri within the Cessnock City Council area. Originally known as Weston Soldiers Settlement, the locality was formally named Loxford in 1969 and developed as a profitable poultry farming centre after World War II.
