Cassilis is a village in the Upper Hunter Shire, located 43 kilometres northwest of Merriwa and 86 kilometres northwest of Mudgee in the Hunter region of New South Wales. Formerly known as Dalkeith, it is a small rural settlement in the hill country of the upper Hunter Valley.
