About Murrin Bridge
Murrin Bridge is an Aboriginal community in central-western New South Wales, located on the Lachlan River approximately 12 kilometres north of Lake Cargelligo in the Cobar Shire. Established as Murrin Bridge Aboriginal Station in 1949, the community sits on the north bank of the Lachlan River with deep cultural ties to the land. The locality has a population of around 57 residents and provides an important link to the region's Indigenous heritage.
