About Gumbalie
Gumbalie is a vast and sparsely populated outback locality in far north-western New South Wales, within the Bourke Shire. It lies on the traditional country of the Kurnu-Baakandji people, on flat plains of dry scrubland bisected by the Darling River system. The locality is home to Toorale National Park, which protects the historic Toorale Station, once one of the largest sheep stations in the world.
