About Eurimbla
Eurimbla is a rural locality in the Dubbo Regional Council area of New South Wales, located about 35 kilometres south of Peak Hill on red-soil plains. The name likely derives from an Aboriginal word meaning "ironbark tree," and the locality sits on the Bell River near the junction with Molong Creek. Used for dryland cropping and sheep grazing, the area was gazetted as a parish in 1906 and remains a small farming community dependent on Peak Hill for services.
