About Marengo (NSW)
Marengo is a remote, sparsely populated rural locality in the high country of the Great Dividing Range in the New England region of New South Wales, north-west of Dorrigo. Lying at an elevation of over 1,100 metres, it is a district of forest and grazing country, with Marengo State Forest and Mount Hyland nearby and Marengo Creek crossing the locality.
