About Wimbledon
Wimbledon is a small rural locality in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, situated approximately 25 kilometres northwest of Bathurst within the Bathurst Regional Council area. The landscape of rolling pastoral country supports sheep and cattle grazing on modified pastures, with the gentle terrain at moderate elevation on the western slopes typical of the region. The locality has no commercial services of its own and residents travel to Bathurst for all retail, medical and educational needs.
