Paling Yards is a rural locality in the Central West of New South Wales, within the Bathurst Regional Council area in the historic goldfields country between Sofala and Hill End. The locality lies in the Turon River district, a major gold-mining area during the rushes of the 1850s and 1870s, and is now sheep and cattle grazing country.
