About Moorilda
Moorilda is a rural locality in the Blayney Shire of the Central Tablelands in New South Wales, located about 15 kilometres south-east of Blayney. Known until 1877 as Teapot Swamp, the area once supported a flour mill, general store, post office, school and three churches designed by Bathurst architect Edward Gell. A hotel operated from 1872 to 1893 near the Glengowan woolshed.
