About Mandurama

Mandurama is a historic village on the Mid-Western Highway, about 59 kilometres south-west of Bathurst in the Blayney Shire. Established in 1839 by Thomas Icely as a workers' settlement, the post office opened in 1876 following gold discoveries on the Belubula River. Fine heritage buildings including the Royal Hotel and Masonic Hall survive, and streets are named after fruits and metals.
