About Lowther
Lowther is a small rural locality in the City of Lithgow on the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, about 21 km south of Lithgow. It is a quiet farming area on the western foothills of the Blue Mountains, with a pioneering heritage marked by the historic St Matthew's church and its pioneer cemetery, which hold the graves of many of the original farming families of the Kanimbla Valley.
