About Kanimbla (NSW)

Kanimbla is a scenic rural locality in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, covering the Kanimbla Valley where the Cox's River carves through towering escarpments, rolling paddocks and fertile farmland. Named from the Gundungurra language, the area features dramatic sandstone cliff views, bushland within the World Heritage-listed Greater Blue Mountains Area, and is traversed by the historic Six Foot Track, a 44 kilometre hiking trail from Katoomba to Jenolan Caves.
