About Fairholme
Fairholme is a large, sparsely populated rural locality in the Lachlan Shire of the Central West in New South Wales, on the western Lachlan Valley. The area features broad, open agricultural land with red loam to self-mulching clay soils, supporting dryland cropping of wheat, barley and canola alongside irrigated farming and livestock grazing. Island Creek runs through the locality, and the Lachlan Valley Way connects it to Condobolin, about 31 kilometres to the west.
