About Derriwong
Derriwong is a rural locality in the Central West region of New South Wales, in Lachlan Shire and Cunningham County. It is mainly agricultural country, and was served from 1898 by a station on the Sydney to Broken Hill railway line, whose removal left the grain silos as the main landmark. By one calculation, the locality marks the geographic centre of New South Wales.
