About Blackmans Flat

Blackmans Flat is a rural locality in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, near Portland and about 100 km from Sydney. Named after the early colonial surveyor James Blackman, the area was the site of the Diggers Arms Inn and a toll gate on the Castlereagh Highway in the 19th century.
