About Dooralong
Dooralong is a rural suburb in the Central Coast local government area, about 17 kilometres north-north-west of Wyong in the Dooralong Valley. Characterised by farmland, horse paddocks, remnant bushland and undulating coastal hinterland terrain, the Watagan Mountains rise to the west. Settlement dates from the 1830s cedar-cutting era, decades before Wyong township was established, and Dooralong Hall is a community landmark about 80 years old.
