About Kiar
Kiar is a rural locality in the northern Central Coast region of New South Wales, near Warnervale. It lies within the traditional Country of the Darkinjung people. The locality was the proposed site for a regional airport, and more recently has been identified for the Kiar Battery Energy Storage System, a large-scale renewable energy project.
