About Wombeyan Caves

Wombeyan Caves is a locality in the Upper Lachlan Shire on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, about 77 kilometres north of Goulburn. It lies at the western end of the Wombeyan Caves Road, which links the caves reserve with Taralga to the east and with Mittagong through the Wollondilly River valley. Most of the locality is taken up by the Wombeyan Karst Conservation Reserve, a marble cave system and holiday area on the traditional lands of the Gandangara people.
