About Tinderry
Tinderry is a locality in the Snowy Monaro Region of New South Wales, situated approximately 70 kilometres south of Canberra. The western part of the locality lies on the Tinderry Range, which includes Tinderry Peak at 1,619 metres and forms the Tinderry Nature Reserve. Further east the terrain opens into grazing country. Michelago, the nearest settlement, lies to the west.
