About Tilba Tilba

Tilba Tilba is a village in Eurobodalla Shire on the far south coast of New South Wales, beside the Princes Highway near Central Tilba. The villages sit within the National Trust-listed Tilba Tilba Conservation Area, declared in 1974, framed by Gulaga, formerly Mount Dromedary, a mountain sacred to the Yuin people that was returned to traditional ownership in 2006. The district's dairying heritage is reflected in the ABC Co-operative at Central Tilba, the first cheese co-operative in New South Wales, founded in 1891.
