About Reidsdale
Reidsdale is a Southern Tablelands locality about 17 kilometres south-east of Braidwood, sitting high on a ridge between the Araluen Valley and the coastal escarpment. Historically known as Irish Corner, it was settled by Irish gold miners who worked the nearby Jembaicumbene and Majors Creek fields before turning to dairying and cheese-making.
