About Polo Flat
Polo Flat is a locality on the edge of Cooma in south-eastern New South Wales, serving as the town's industrial area and home to the Cooma-Polo Flat airfield. The airfield was established by 1921 and developed in the 1950s and 1960s to serve the Snowy Mountains Scheme, later becoming a flying school and a centre for training pilots with disabilities.
