About Glen Fergus

Glen Fergus is a rural locality in the Monaro region of New South Wales, within the Snowy Monaro Regional Council area on the plains between Cooma and Nimmitabel. Glenfergus Homestead, built in the 1870s, began as market gardens supplying local communities before growing into a large sheep-grazing property, and its slab shearing shed is regarded as the oldest still standing in the Monaro.
