About Deua River Valley

Deua River Valley is a locality in the Eurobodalla Shire of New South Wales, in the valley of the Deua River about 20 km north-west of Moruya, on the road towards Araluen. It lies amid the forested foothills of the ranges where the Deua River cuts through gorges and limestone country. Araluen, reached by road through the valley, was one of New South Wales' richest alluvial goldfields after gold was found there in 1851.
