About Congo
Congo is a coastal village in Eurobodalla Shire on the South Coast of New South Wales, about 10 kilometres south-east of Moruya. It is bounded by the Tasman Sea to the east and by Eurobodalla National Park on its other sides, with Congo Creek reaching the sea at the northern end of the village. The area was a major source of silcrete for Aboriginal stone tools, and the village is a starting point for the Bingi Dreaming Track.
