About Baw Baw (NSW)

Baw Baw is a rural locality in the Goulburn Mulwaree Council area of New South Wales, about 7 km north of Goulburn. The area was settled from the mid-1840s under colonial land grants, and a village, surveyed on the banks of the Wollondilly River, was never built. Baw Baw had a public school from 1879 until 1941.
