About Theodore (ACT)
Theodore is a suburb in the Tuggeranong district of Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. It was gazetted on 5 August 1975 and named after Edward Granville Theodore, a Queensland premier and deputy prime minister; its streets are named after people involved in the civilian war effort. The suburb borders the bushland of Tuggeranong Hill Nature Reserve, which holds an Aboriginal artefact grinding grooves site.
