About Narrikup
Narrikup is a small town and locality in the Shire of Plantagenet in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, on the road and railway between Albany and Mount Barker. The name comes from the Aboriginal name of a nearby brook, thought to mean "place of abundance". The Great Southern Railway reached the district in 1889, and the townsite was gazetted in 1907.
