About Bylands

Bylands is a rural locality in Mitchell Shire, situated on the Northern Highway between Kilmore and Broadford about 50 kilometres north of Melbourne. Historically the locality had a school, hotel, post office and railway station on the Heathcote Junction to Kilmore branch line, which opened in 1888 and closed in 1968.
