About Gungahlin
Gungahlin is a suburb in the Canberra district of the same name in the Australian Capital Territory, containing the Gungahlin Town Centre, the northern-most town centre of the ACT, 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Canberra City. Gungahlin is an Aboriginal word meaning either 'white man's house' or 'little rocky hill'. The town was officially launched as the ACT's fourth town in 1991.
