About Kurmond

Kurmond is a village on Bells Line of Road in the City of Hawkesbury, New South Wales, between Kurrajong and North Richmond. Originally known as Longleat, it was renamed Kurmond, a combination of the names of the neighbouring towns Kurrajong and Richmond. The district is known for its orchards, and soldier settler blocks were granted in the 1930s. The village has a public school, a small shopping centre and a post office.
