About Bulli
Bulli is a suburb and beachside town in the City of Wollongong in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, situated approximately 80 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district. The town is known for its surfing beach, the historic Bulli Pass and the coal mining heritage that shaped the settlement from the 1840s. Bulli sits at the foot of the Illawarra Escarpment, with the escarpment cliffs rising steeply behind the town and the Pacific Ocean forming the eastern boundary.
