About Belmore
Belmore is a predominantly low-rise residential suburb characterised by well-preserved Federation and interwar California Bungalow housing on tree-lined streets. Its heritage-listed sports ground is home to the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs NRL club, and the 1895 railway station was the original terminus of the Bankstown line. The Burwood Road shopping strip features Art Deco façades and sits between the larger commercial centres of Campsie and Lakemba.
