About South Tammin

South Tammin is a small rural locality in the Shire of Tammin in the central Wheatbelt of Western Australia, on the Great Eastern Highway about 190 kilometres east of Perth. The locality is centred on the former settlement of Bungulla, which grew up as a railway station on the line to Merredin and was gazetted as a townsite in 1910. The area is now wheat and sheep farming country.
