About Lake Margarette
Lake Margarette is a rural locality in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia, within the Shire of Koorda. The locality is named for the lake and rock catchment developed from 1909, and the area rock catchments and soaks were traditionally used by first peoples, explorers, pastoralists, sandalwood pullers and settlers as a water supply.
