About Kweda

Kweda is a small town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, in the Shire of Brookton about 45 kilometres east of Brookton. It developed as a railway siding town when the Brookton to Corrigin railway line opened in 1915, with a school that operated until 1972 and the line closing in 1957. The Kweda Hall remains as a community building in the district.
