About Gilgering
Gilgering is a small rural locality in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, situated approximately 10 kilometres south of Beverley within the Shire of Beverley. The broadacre cereal cropping and sheep grazing landscape is typical of the Avon Valley agricultural belt, with the Great Southern Highway passing through the locality. The nearby town of Beverley provides essential services, while Northam — the largest inland town in the Avon Valley — lies roughly 30 kilometres to the northeast.
