Dandaragan is a small town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, located approximately 170 kilometres north of Perth and 29 kilometres west of Moora. The name is Indigenous Australian in origin and is thought to mean good kangaroo country. The Dandaragan plateau is the underlying geological feature of the area.
