About Arthur River (WA)

Arthur River is a small farming town in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region, on the Albany Highway between Williams and Kojonup. Established in the 1850s, the community has long relied on sheep grazing and today features restored heritage buildings including the Arthur Wool Shed and the historic Hillman Dam, hand-dug by early settlers. Nearby Lake Towerinning is popular for water sports, and the surrounding area is known for wildflower displays.
