About West Lyons River

West Lyons River is a vast, sparsely populated pastoral locality in the Shire of Upper Gascoyne in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. It takes its name from the Lyons River, explored and named by Francis Gregory in 1858, and comprises remote station country along the river and its tributaries.
