About Tamala

Tamala is a remote locality on the Edel Land peninsula in the Shark Bay region of Western Australia, the site of Tamala Station. The peninsula, part of the Shark Bay World Heritage area, is dominated by the Zuytdorp Cliffs and includes Steep Point, the most westerly point of mainland Australia, named Steyle Hock by Willem de Vlamingh in 1697.
