About Shark Bay
Shark Bay is a locality in the Shire of Shark Bay in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia, on the westernmost point of the Australian continent. It lies within the 2.2 million hectare Shark Bay World Heritage Area, on the traditional lands of the Malgana people. The main settlement of the area is the town of Denham, about 800 kilometres north of Perth.
