About Naraling
Naraling is a locality in the Mid West region of Western Australia. The townsite was declared in 1910 when the Upper Chapman Valley railway line reached it from Geraldton. A severe cyclone damaged the township in 1913. A stone church built in 1923 served the small farming community. The name derives from an Aboriginal word for a nearby spring.
