About Mantamaru
Mantamaru, also known as Jameson, is an Aboriginal community in the Goldfields-Esperance region, located approximately 120 kilometres east of Warburton within the Shire of Ngaanyatjarraku. The community sits at the base of the Jameson Range on Ngaanyatjarra Lands, and its name translates as black ground in Ngaanyatjarra, describing the small dark stones found in the area.
