About Gascoyne River

Gascoyne River is a vast remote locality in the Shire of Upper Gascoyne in Western Australia, spanning arid pastoral country approximately 736 kilometres north of Perth. The landscape is defined by the Gascoyne River and its tributaries winding through sparse cattle stations. The locality takes its name from the Gascoyne River, the longest river in Western Australia at 865 kilometres.
