About Canna
Canna is a small historic town in the Mid West region of Western Australia, located approximately 43 kilometres north-east of Morawa on the Mullewa-Wubin Road. Originating as a railway siding on the Wongan Hills to Mullewa line that opened in 1915, the townsite was gazetted in 1928. The locality is known for its old general store with a tree growing through the wall, a Lutheran church built in 1955, and spectacular spring wildflower displays throughout the surrounding reserve.
