About Sturt Creek

Sturt Creek is a vast and remote pastoral locality in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, centred on the Sturt Creek cattle station within the Shire of Halls Creek. Located roughly 1,880 kilometres north-east of Perth near the Northern Territory border, the locality encompasses sweeping arid landscapes, intermittent watercourses and sparse outback settlement. The Sturt Creek watercourse flows intermittently through the region toward the Tanami Desert.
