About Kundat Djaru

Kundat Djaru, also known as Ringer Soak, is an Aboriginal community located 170 kilometres south-east of Halls Creek in the Kimberley region, near the Northern Territory border on the northern edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Established on land excised from Gordon Downs Station in the early 1980s, the primary language spoken is Jaru.
