About Barrow Island
Barrow Island is an island 50 kilometres northwest off the Pilbara coast of Western Australia, the second largest in the state after Dirk Hartog Island. A Class A Nature Reserve since 1910, it is home to Australia's largest onshore operating oilfield and the Gorgon Project, one of the world's largest liquefied natural gas facilities.
